Before becoming a Fashion Designer I studied and worked as an Environmental Scientist.
While some might consider this an unusual transition between career paths, I feel it has
informed the way I think about, and create clothing.
With Fashion being one of the world’s worst polluters, I feel very passionately about being as sustainable as I can with my small business. For this reason, all pieces are available in limited quantities and created on a made-to-order basis. This ensures only wanted clothing is created and also enables me to have a close relationship with my customers – which means the absolute world to me!
The fabrics I use are all either locally sourced, natural fibre, recycled, organic and deadstock.
I love making fun and unique clothing that makes women feel not only empowered and ready to take on the world, but also happy and secure in knowing that they’ve chosen to support a conscious fashion label. In a time when trends are short-lived and quick to change, I want to instead tell a specific story with clothes that are made to last over time.
